ParaNorman is back re-mastered and in cinemas for one week only. See it this coming Halloween – best of all it is in glorious 3D!
The stop motion animation geniuses at LAIKA have remastered the classic ParaNorman film. They are releasing it for Halloween in 2025 with an extra all new short film – ParaNorman – The Thrifting.
ParaNorman successfully treads a fine line being both a family film and a supernatural action-comedy (gentle scares) film, reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are overwhelmingly good, highlighting both the laughs and surprises and overall message of the film.

What is interesting from a 3D perspective is how this follows the success of the re-release of Coraline last year. That was also re-mastered in 3D and financially very successful. Hopefully this will continue and the strong support from animation films will continue to roll for 3D.
