Some great news for the 3D community. There is great progress with the vision of the creator of 3D-Spatial.com coming to life in the form of a new application for the meta headset. Those watching the progress on the Facebook channel can see how the application is progressing and the potential. Hopefully this app and website be enabling the viewing of 3D content on the meta headset. But also promoting and generating 3D content more widely from more content providers.
Take a look at the recent post around the potential GUI for the new application. See below and this post: 3D Spatial Post
It has always been a strange hole in the feature and application set of the Meta Quest system. There has not been a proper application to enable the streaming of 3D features and shorts so this will be a very welcome addition for the 3D fans.
Not only that but you can see why this would be great in the 3D Features reviews on this website display of these in a 3D headset does add an amazing immersive element to many of the features, definitely worth a re-watch of your favourites in a VR display if you can.
